ABCollectables - Books, Games & Training for Education
ABCollectables (ABC) provides a range of services and training to schools. We bring African and African Caribbean history and culture to life in the classroom using reputable artists, community elders and positive roles models. Our services are tailored for all ages from Foundation to Keystage 4 pupils. All our artists have years of experience are reliable, enthusiastic and committed to schools.
ABC was established in 2002 specialising in unique books, we published 5 quality-learning resources that focused on the Manchester Commonwealth Games. Since then, we have written a number of booklets such as, a Peace Booklet (2006) and a Moss Side and Hulme Community Directory (2007) and delivered training locally and internationally. Since September 2007, ABC has worked with over 65 schools in Manchester and Trafford to highlight and promote African culture through Arts and community engagement and community-school partnership working through School Showcases promoting Peace and African Arts and during Black History Month.
